Bulk Material Reclaim System
The Bulk Material Reclaim System by Precision Energy is engineered and constructed to economically and reliable receive, store and reclaim a wide variety of bulk materials. Integrated into either an existing or stand-alone structure, the system readily accommodates sawdust, grains, woody fuels, pellets, animal feeds, agricultural, DDGS and most other non-uniform bulk products with ease.
The Bulk Material Reclaim System provides for self-unloading trucks or vans, or other mobile equipment, to deliver product into either an at-grade or pit-style receiving storage area. A track-mounted motorized carriage with a horizontal auger traverses under and through piled material, automatically advancing as needed and pulling product through a gap at the base of one wall onto a discharge conveyer, drag chain, or similar arrangement. Even difficult fibrous materials are handled without the binding, bridging, and plugging that plagues most conventional reclaim systems.
The Bulk Material Reclaim System
- Can be used at schools, hospitals, recreation centers, sawmills, ethanol plants, pelletizing plants, and agricultural processing facilities; just about anywhere there is a need to reliably handle bulk materials.
- Readily accommodates bulk materials sized from ¼-inch to 6-inch with bulk densities of 6 to 50 lbs. per cubic foot. The range of sizing and bulk densities can be expanded with nominal adjustment.
- Reclaim rate is variable and controllable, from zero to 2.5 cubic feet per minute, subject to bulk density. Higher feed rates can be accommodated with nominal adjustment.
- A lower-cost alternative to more conventional receiving bins, bucket elevators, vertical bins, and reclaim arrangements while being much easier to access for cleaning and equipment maintenance.
- Built to robust industrial standards with purpose-engineered heavy-duty motors, gear boxes, drives, and sensor components.
- System control and monitoring can be readily integrated into existing facility schemes or, alternatively, provided with stand-alone PLC-based controls.
- Stores up to 6,000 cubic feet of material (4,820 bushels). The system can be adapted if needed for increased storage capacity, fugitive dust controls, and other special requirements.
- Multiple systems can be installed to allow automated or manual blending of bulk materials.
