A fluidized bed energy
system rated at 80 Million BTU per hour is available to supply energy to a
rotary dryer, veneer dryer, boiler, thermal oil heater or other energy
requirement. Wood waste or other fuels such as sludge, industrial fuels and
other combustible materials 4-inch minus in size can be used as fuel. |

The system has been used to supply heat to a process dryer and has become
surplus. The scope of equipment available includes the following:
- 80 MM BTU/HR Fluidized Bed Combustor
- Fluidizing Fan and 250 HP Motor
- Gas Blending Chamber with Fan and 250 HP
Motor
- Ductwork, Dampers and Supports
- Automatic Bed Cleaning System (for
continuous operation)
- Fuel Metering System, Twin Screw, 5 HP
Variable Speed Drive
- High Pressure Pneumatic Fuel Feed System,
8-inch line, 25 x 30 Feeder
- 2 - 10 HP Fixed and Variable Speed Drives
plus Infeed Conveyor
System is in good condition and would be able to provide continuous operation
burning difficult fuels, meeting low emission requirements.
